Toros and Stingers Deadlocked for First
Whalers Shut out Crusaders 4-0

  There were three teams that were tied for first place coming into this past Sunday's South Coastal Hockey League action and we are down to two. The Toros, Stingers and Saints were all tied for first place, but after this past weekend's action the Toros and the Stingers are tied for first.
  John Tympanick scored two goals, Joe Craig of Marshfield, Gavin Steinman and Hanover's Scott Morgan added a goal each in the Toros' 5-4 win over the Saints.

Steve Colella had three assists and Paul Lyons of Pembroke had two assists in the game for the Toros. Jim Mulhern scored two goals, Jim Ford had a goal and an assist and Pembroke's John MacLellan added a goal for the Saints.

   Abington's Jim Polito scored a power play goal assisted by Chris Poudrier and Dave Salvaggio with 9:08 left to give the Stingers a 1-0 win over the Sharks.

Pembroke's Mark Frano recorded his first shutout of the season.

  Tom Piepenbrink scored two goals, Scott Varley added a goal and an assist and John DeBenedictis scored a goal in the Whalers' 4-0 win over the Crusaders.
