Shootouts and Overtime Determine Final Matchup
Sharks and Stingers To Play for the Championship

By Mark Ducharme
Correspondent

The South Coastal Hockey League Fall Season semifinals had everything you could want and a great deal more. The Sharks needed to win a shootout and the Stingers used overtime to advance to the league championship game on New Year's Day. The Stingers won the season series between the two teams as they won the first two games and the Sharks won the third and final game of the regular season.
The Stingers, who were last in the league playoffs in the Spring of 2014 got two goals from Pembroke's Scott Kelly including the game winner in the second overtime to give them a come from behind 2-1 win.
