Crusaders Hang on for Win Over Whalers
Teams Combine for a Five Goal Third Period

  The Crusaders and the Whalers played a wild third period in their South Coastal Hockey League meeting. The two teams combined for five third period goals as the Crusaders scored the last three of the period as they rallied for a 4-2 win. Pembroke's Mike Evans, Jim Donovan of Marshfield and Scituate's Pat Byrne scored the goals for the Crusaders. Mike Simon scored for the Crusaders in the first period while Tom MacInnes had a goal and assist and Pembroke's Eric Morgan scored for the Whalers.

  Mike Crisp scored two goals, Jay Faherty, Bob Bibeau and Daron Jacobs of Pembroke added a goal each as the Sharks remain undefeated with a 5-1 win over the Toros. Artie Riccio and Tim Fallon both had two assists for the Sharks and Tom Dromey scored for the Toros.

  Chuck Ryan scored two goals and assisted on another one while his brother Kevin had a goal and three assists to lead the Saints to a 7-3 win over the Stingers. John MacLellan of Pembroke, Derek Knudsen and Scituate's Kevin Gee all had a goal and an assist each for the Saints. Pembroke's Jim Mulhern also scored in the win. Abington's Jim Polito scored two goals and Chris Poudrier added a goal and John Dunn had three assists in the game for the Stingers.
