Playoff Matchups Are Set
Saints vs. Sharks; Crusaders vs. Stingers

  The playoffs are set for the South Coastal Hockey League on Sunday at the Hobomock Arena in Pembroke. The Saints rallied from a 2-0 deficit with three second period goals and hung on for a 5-3 win over the Toros to clinch the fourth and final playoff spot. Jim Ford scored his first of two goals in the game, John Davey and Jim Mulhern of Pembroke scored to spark the Saints three goal second period. Ford and Derek Knudsen scored for the Saints in the third period. Jim McNeill had two assists in the game. Joe Craig of Marshfield, Paul Brinkmann and Steve Figlioli scored for the Toros.

Saints take final playoff spot

  The Saints will play the top-seeded Sharks in the semifinals at 9:00 P.M.  Tim Fallon scored with 30 seconds left to give the Sharks a 3-2 win over the Crusaders. Art Riccio registered his 500th career point with a goal in the third period and Pembroke's Hank Mosca scored in the first period for the Sharks.

Steve Mudge scored both of the goals for the Crusaders in the game.
  The Crusaders will play the Stingers in the 7:50 P.M. semifinal game. The Stingers got two goals from John Dunn in their 3-1 win over the Whalers. Chris Poudrier also scored and Jim Callahan had two assists for the Stingers while Rick Hall scored for the Whalers.
