Crusaders and Saints for the Cup
Evans Scores in Overtime for Crusaders; Ford Puts Saints in Finals

  There will be two new finalists in the South Coastal Hockey League championship game on Sunday at the Hobomock Arena in Pembroke. The Crusaders and the Saints both pulled out one goal wins to earn their trip to the finals at 9:00 P.M. Pembroke's Mike Evans scored 12 seconds in to the overtime off a feed by Marshfield's Chris Harrington to give the Crusaders a come from behind 3-2 win over the Stingers

The Crusaders have won seven of their last eight games. Evans tied the game in the third period, 2-2 off a feed by Ed Burke. Marshfield's Steve Mudge scored in the first period for the Crusaders. Pembroke's Scott Kelly and Chris Poudrier scored 50 seconds apart in the third period to give the Stingers a 2-1 lead.
  Jim Ford scored his second goal of the game with 46.7 seconds left to break a 2-2 tie and goalie Justin Stratton of Marshfield came up with two big stops in the final 30 seconds as the Saints held on for a 3-2 win over the Sharks.

 Derek Knudsen scored a goal and Kevin Ryan had two assists for the Saints who have won four straight games.Tim Routhier and Mike Crisp scored the goals for the Sharks.

  Pat Burke and Mike Purdy both scored two goals while Harry Mathews and Andrew Clark both had a goal each in the Whalers' 6-4 consolation win over the Toros. Hanover's Scott Morgan scored three goals and Tom Dromey added a goal for the Toros.
