Crusaders Win Fourth Straight
Art Riccio Scores 200th Goal in Sharks' Victory

By Mark Ducharme

The Crusaders have been one of the hotter teams in the South Coastal Hockey League as of late. They found themselves in a tough hole as they were down 2-0 to the Saints after a period, but the Crusaders' line of Jim Donovan of Marshfield, Scituate's Pat Byrne and Steve Mudge, also of Marshfield, led a comeback to a victory for the team. Byrne scored two goals, Donovan had a goal and an assist and Mudge had two assists in the Crusaders come from behind, 3-2 win over the Saints for the team's fourth win in their last five games. Derek Knudsen and Frank Elwood scored first period goals for the Saints.

A Hockey Story

Received a note from our old friend Tony Shaw. He sent along an article of an interview  with Maurice "Rocket" Richard:

Many years ago at the old Montreal Forum at the end of the game

CC:  Well, Rocket, quite a fast game tonite.

CC:  And your third star?
R:  Well, for my turd star I 'ave to pick Boom Boom Geoffrion. He skate. He shoot de puck.  And he 'ad 2 assist.
